Pacific InterWest Apartment Inspection Services
Pacific InterWest Apartment Inspection Services (PIWAIS) was founded in 2020 specifically to provide turnkey inspection and consulting services for apartment and condo owners to comply with the requirements of Senate Bill 721 (SB721) and Senate Bill 326 (SB326). As a partner company with Pacific InterWest Building Consultants, PIWAIS draws on the extensive experience of the architects, inspectors, consultants, and industry experts within Pacific InterWest to execute a complete program for apartment owners from an initial evaluation through design and repairs, as well as compiling all data records to prepare for the next inspection cycle (six years for SB721 and nine years for SB326). PIWAIS’s mission is to assist property owners in navigating through the extensive logistical and procedural challenges of SB721 and SB326 to complete the inspection, reporting, design, and repair processes efficiently and effectively.

Pacific InterWest Energy Consultants (PIWECI) provides builders with the services necessary to comply with California’s energy code requirements. Our professional and courteous team of HERS raters are certified by both CHEERS and CalCERTS, and have a minimum of six years of experience in the field. We provide a full menu of HERS testing services, including duct leakage testing, refrigerant charge and air flow, air balancing, CF2R and CF3R forms, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Quality Insulation Installation (QII), and guarantee same day registry entry for all HERS testing.
